Statistical Consultant I
Status:
You’ll develop data models to solve problems needing a statistical approach. Your general accountabilities and deliverables will include:
- Analysis and interpretation of data from various sources; compilation of reports, charts, and tables using a variety of statistical methods.
- Research and manipulation of data; and preparation of analyses that document program activities and the results of interventions.
- Management of the flow of information between departments and programs through the use of relational databases.
- Maintenance of data integrity by working to eliminate redundancy.
- Consultation on the design, testing, and enhancement of reporting and analysis systems.
- Doctorate in statistics, mathematics, or a related field;
- Ability to manage small-scale projects independently;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated analytical skills;
- Familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS and SAS;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
- Experience in statistical consulting.
